The main character, Juliette, has an ability that makes everyone she touches die. Because of this she is locked in an insane asylum for a little less than a year. Juliette is finally released when Warner, a leader in the society, takes her to be used as a weapon. Then, she meets Adam. He is the only one who can touch her and he helps her escape. Everything is perfect right?
Kingdom of the Wicked
Kingdom of the Wicked is set in a low fantasy world. The story takes place in medieval Italy. The main character, Emilia, and her sister, Vittoria, are witches. Their grandmother has always taught them to fear the princes of hell. Each prince is one of the deadly sins. When Vittoria is brutally murdered, Emilia is ready to do anything to get answer. So, she summons a demon. What she didn’t expect was that the demon she would summon would be Wrath, prince of hell.
Shatter Realms Series
The Seven Realms and Shattered Realms books are high fantasy, romance. There’s a lot going on but 1-2 enemies-to-lovers storylines. The first four books are mainly about Raisa, the future queen of the Fells, and Han, a poor criminal who turns out to be a wizard. The second four books are about the next generation and have eight main characters by the end. The second book in Shattered Realms (6th book overall) introduces Raisa’s daughter, Alyssa. She is one of the leaders of the army. Alyssa ends up falling for the general of the opposing army.
A Thousand Heartbeats
A Thousand Heartbeats is set in a somewhat fantasy world. The main characters, Princess Annika and Lennox, are on opposite sides of a war. Lennox is part of a group of rebels trying to overthrow the monarchy. The two of them overcome all odds to be together and bring peace to the kingdom.
Letters of Enchantment Duology
The Letters of Enchantment duology is set in a high fantasy world. The main character, Iris, works as a newspaper reporter. Iris and her rival, Roman, are competing for the colonist position. When he wins she quits and becomes a war reporter for the other newspaper in town. Iris has a magical typewriter that when she slips letters under doorways she can write the mysterious Caver. She somehow falls for a guy she has never met. Little does Iris know that Carver is actually Roman.
